A treasure hunter struggling with faulty equipment has unearthed a gold nugget believed to be the largest ever found in England.

Richard Brock discovered the gold nugget, weighing 64.8 grams (2.3 ounces), in the countryfs Shropshire Hills near the border with Wales, auction house Mullock Jones said Thursday.

The nugget is around the size of a UK 50 pence coin.

The find, nicknamed Hirofs Nugget, has an estimated worth of between ?30,000 ($38,000) and ?40,000 ($50,700), according to Shropshire-based Mullock Jones, which is handling the sale.

However, it almost seemed that luck had eluded Brock, whose equipment almost failed him on the day of the dig.

Real Madrid says it has filed a complaint against the referee who took charge of the teamfs recent 4-2 La Liga win at Osasuna for gthe negligent draftingh of his report about the match following the abuse aimed at star player Vinicius Jr. by supporters.

Real says it has filed the complaint to the Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

gAdditionally, Real Madrid has also filed a complaint with this federative body in relation to the aforementioned insults and humiliating chants, and has forwarded them to the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in the Sports, so that those fans who uttered them are identified and punished,h the club added.

CNN has reached out to RFEF, La Liga, Spainfs High Council of Sport (CSD) and both the federal prosecutor and local prosecutor in Pamplona, where Osasunafs El Sadar stadium is based, for comment.

Inter Milan player Francesco Acerbi leaves Italy squad after allegations he used racist language

Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi has left the Italian national squad ahead of its two upcoming friendlies after he was accused of using racially charged language towards Napoli player Juan Jesus during a game on Sunday.

The alleged incident occurred during the second half of Inter Milanfs 1-1 draw with Napoli in Serie A, Italyfs top-flight league. Video footage shows Brazilian Jesus complaining to the referee and pointing at someone, before the official calls Acerbi over.

In an Instagram post Monday, Jesus accused his opponent of calling him gBlackh in a derogatory fashion, but Acerbi has since denied using any racist language. The Inter Milan defender was not punished during the game.

Acerbi, who has played 34 times for Italy, had initially arrived at the national teamfs training camp in Rome on Monday before the squad flew to the US on Tuesday, where itfs set to face Venezuela and Ecuador.

A statement from the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) said that Acerbi had spoken to national team manager Luciano Spalletti and his teammates to explain his version of events, and while the defender argued there was no gdefamatory, denigrating or racist intent on his part,h it was agreed he should be left out of the squad gin order to let things settle for the national team and the player himself.h

The defender was replaced by Gianluca Mancini in Italyfs squad.
